Every Raider. One Campus.

We’re excited to welcome every Raider on one campus this fall as Richmond Senior High School becomes home to all traditional high school students. Bringing ninth grade to the main campus marks an important milestone for Richmond County Schools and opens the door to more opportunities, stronger connections, and a unified high school experience for all students. Check back here for updates and important information as we prepare for the year ahead.

🚦2025-2026 Traffic Plan

Richmond Senior High School has finalized a new traffic plan to improve safety and reduce congestion with the addition of ninth grade students on campus. The major change is that student drivers and student drop-off will now use different entrances.

Key changes to know:

  • Student drop-off and pick-up will enter through the Washington Street gate, use the front circle, and exit back onto Washington Street.

  • Student drivers will enter and exit through the U.S. Highway 1 gate.

  • The road between the two gates will be closed to through traffic, creating a one-way flow on both sides of campus.

With this updated pattern, each group will enter and exit the same way. Please review the map carefully before the first day of school.

Back-to-School Open House

Richmond Senior High School will hold Open House on Thursday, August 21 for all students in grades 9–12. This event gives families a chance to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and prepare for the start of school.

9th Grade: 1:00 to 4:00 PM

10th–12th Grade: 5:00 to 8:00 PM

The earlier time for ninth grade allows incoming freshmen to get more familiar with the campus and find their classes in a smaller setting.

Staff will be available to assist with schedules, directions, and any questions throughout the evening.
